American Institute of Timber Constuction

American Institute of Timber Construction

The American Institute of Timber Construction (AITC) is the national technical trade association of the structural glued laminated (glulam) timber industry. AITC represents a majority of the glued laminated timber manufacturers in the U.S. in addition to a number of installers, suppliers, sales representatives, engineers, architects, designers, and researchers.

Forest Stewardship Council®

Timber Systems encourages responsible forestry practices through the use of FSC® Certification. FSC® is an independent, non-governmental, not-for-profit organization established to promote the responsible management of the world’s forests.

FSC® and Chain-of-Custody certification are now available on many products that we offer including glue laminated timber, solid sawn timber, and solid and laminated wood decking. This certification provides a link between responsibly managed forests and the timber products our customers have come to rely upon, enabling them to make purchasing decisions that benefit people and the environment.

Construction Association of Michigan

CAM provides service, information, and assistance to the construction industry. The Association exists to foster growth in the construction industry and encourage networking between members and their publics.
